A pro-life ministry with an outreach to the African American community. We want to offer pregnancy crisis services full time.
We give life in our ministry in a number of ways: 1.by speaking the truth, 2. by saving the lives of babies, 3. by bringing healing to the broken hearts of post-abortive mothers and fathers.
Hosea 4:6 says, “My people perish for lack of knowledge.” As a people group, we are exterminating ourselves. The mass weapon of destruction we are using is abortion. Since the legalization of abortion,1973,
- we have aborted 17,183,630 black babies
- 17 million is 69.7% of the under-40 black population
- 17 million is 43.1% of the total black population. This is devastating when you realize that 61.8% of all blacks are under 40.
Though this is the present situation of the African American culture, far too few have this information.
Deuteronomy 30:19 says, “I set before you blessings and curses, life and death. Choose life so that you and your children may live.” We must get back to the word of God and take it seriously. God created us to become a great people and we cannot be a great people if we kill our own!
Most people do not know that black genocide has been a purposeful plan put into motion by the founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger. Sanger, a eugenicist and member of the Klu Klux Klan, founded Planned Parenthood in hopes of disguising its real purpose, which was to get rid of black people, the “innately, inferior human beings.” 80% of all abortion clinics, including Planned Parenthood, are located in minority communities. 80% of pregnancy crisis centers are located in suburbs.
At present, I am writing grants to open a pregnancy crisis center. We received our first grant in April. While grant writing, the ministry also gives life by educating the community about genocide, by showing a documentary titled ‘MAAFA 21.’ The word Maafa means ‘holocaust’, holocaust (genocide) in the African American culture in the 21st century. This film documents the plan that was set in motion in this country over 250 years ago to commit black genocide and how it is still carried out today through Planned Parenthood.
We have experienced many crying at the end of this movie, many who had been pro-choice become pro-life, many who ask if they can volunteer in the ministry to help change things and many who need post-abortive counseling.
We offer post-abortion counseling as well as counseling to women making a choice between abortion and adoption. Until we become a fully functioning ministry we collaborate with other pregnancy crisis services and refer those we cannot serve.
I am very concerned about the high price we are paying for abortion. White people are not dragging us to these clinics, so I wonder, why do we no longer love our own?
It is interesting that I am completing this questionnaire today and being asked to answer this question.
Just approximately one hour ago, a young lady came into my office and had the most beautiful smile on her face and in her arms was a very content little one, sleeping soundly. Though she looked familiar, I could not remember where we had met.
This was the young lady that I had first met when I learned to do sidewalk counseling outside of the then Tiller Clinic. My white friends asked me to begin coming out to the clinic and handing out literature and witnessing to Mom’s going in to have an abortion. They shared with me that more than half of those women seeking third trimester abortions were African American women who would not stop to receive literature, prayer or counsel from white volunteers.
They were right. Whenever a car pulled up and the individuals inside were black, they were more likely to stop and listen to me or take a piece of literature from me than any one else from our team.
This young lady reminded me that I had shared the love of Christ with her and because of that, she chose not to have an abortion.
In her arms today was her sweet little boy that she had considered aborting! Praise the Lord! And, she accepted Christ as her personal favor. She shared with me that her life has never been the same. And I thank God for His grace and mercy!
